Mockingbird
Vineyards vision and creation came from our brother-in-law, the late H. Daniel
Willett, who first planted the vines in
2005. Dan created award winning wines that would enrich tasting
experiences from the flavors and aromas that originated from the
5.5 acres of grapes.
In
2011, the passion for the vineyard continued on. The new
dedication and success for caring for the vines proved rewarding
for us. A bountiful crop of 9 varieties has since been expanded
in quantity and is available to be matched up with wineries
committed to making Illinois wines. As grape growers we strive
in supreme tasting juice derived from the varietals grown at our
vineyards, and we take pride in grape production.
